Skin problems: diagnosis and care

How it works

Many skin problems look alike. A red, itchy, ring-shaped patch may be a fungal infection (ringworm, “daad”), eczema or psoriasis, and each needs a different treatment. Using the wrong cream, especially a steroid mixed with antifungal and antibiotic, can make a fungal infection spread and keep coming back.

We examine the skin, ask how it started and what you have already used, and explain what it is in plain words. Treatment may include creams, tablets and simple habit changes. If a test or a specialist opinion would help, we tell you.

Good for

  • Fungal infection and ringworm
  • Eczema and dry, itchy skin
  • Rashes that keep returning

How many sessions?

Depends on the problem. Many settle within a few weeks.

Results and how long they last

Itching often eases within days. Fungal infections need the full course, usually several weeks, even after the skin looks clear. Eczema and psoriasis are long-term conditions that can be kept calm with the right routine.

What affects the cost

The cost is usually a consultation plus medicines. Follow-up visits are kept short.

We tell you the full cost of your plan before you start, so there are no surprises. For today’s price, or a running offer, just ask on WhatsApp.

Aftercare

  • Complete the full course of treatment
  • Keep skin folds dry

Questions people ask

Why does my fungal infection keep coming back?

Often the treatment was stopped early or clothes stayed damp. We help you break the cycle.

Why should I not use creams from the chemist on my own?

Many popular creams contain strong steroids. They hide the rash for a while, then it returns bigger. Over time they can thin and mark the skin.

Is ringworm contagious?

Yes. It spreads through shared towels, clothes and close contact, so wash clothes separately and treat everyone affected.
