Vampire facial (PRP facial)
A small amount of your blood is taken and spun to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). This is then worked into the skin with microneedling, encouraging the skin to renew itself.
How it works
A small tube of blood is taken from your arm, as in a routine blood test. It is spun in a centrifuge so the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) separates out. Platelets carry growth factors, natural signals that help tissue repair itself.
After a numbing cream has worked for about 30 minutes, microneedling makes tiny channels in the skin and the PRP is worked in. The channels and the growth factors together encourage new collagen, which is what makes skin look smoother and fresher over the following weeks.
